 സ്ക്കൂൾ വിട്ടുവന്ന അപ്പുണ്ണി പതിവുപോലെ അമ്മയുടെ അടുത്തിരുന്നു പലഹാരം കഴിക്കുകയായിരുന്നു. കുടിക്കാൻ ജീരകവെള്ളവും കഴിക്കാൻ അവന് ഏറെ ഇഷ്ടമുള്ള അമ്മ പ്രത്യേകം തയ്യാറാക്കുന്ന എള്ളും അവിലും ചേർത്തുണ്ടാക്കിയ കറുത്തയുണ്ട തന്നെയായിരുന്നു.അവൻ്റെ പ്രിയപ്പെട്ട കുഞ്ഞുതാലത്തിൽ . പക്ഷേ അത് മുഴുവൻ കഴിക്കാനുള്ള ക്ഷമ അവനുണ്ടായില്ല.അമ്മ മറ്റെന്തിനോ പുറത്തിറങ്ങിയപ്പോൾ തക്കം നോക്കി അവൻ രക്ഷപ്പെട്ടു. താലത്തിൽ അവശേഷിച്ച ഒന്നുരണ്ടുണ്ടകൾ അപ്പോഴും സങ്കടപ്പെടുന്നുണ്ടായിരുന്നു.ഞങ്ങളെക്കൂടി അകത്താക്കൂ എന്ന ഭാവത്തിൽ. എന്നാൽ അപ്പുണ്ണി അതത്ര ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചില്ല.അവൻ്റെ ഉള്ളിൽ നിറയെ ഗിരി അപ്പൂപ്പൻ്റെ അടുത്ത് എത്താനുള്ള തിടുക്കം മാത്രമായിരുന്നു.         ചിത്രം:AI നിർമ്മിതം.,oliyaazhi.com വീടിൻ്റെ പിറകിലെ കുന്നിൻ ചെരിവിലൂടെ വേണം അപ്പൂപ്പൻ്റെ വീട്ടിലെത്താൻ. കരിമ്പാറകൾ നിറഞ്ഞ ഒറ്റയടിപ്പാതയിലൂടെ അവൻ വേഗം നടന്നു..സന്ധ്യക്ക് മുൻപ് തിരിച്ചെത്തണം. അപ്പുണ്ണിയുടെ വീടുപോലെ വലിയ ഒരു പാട് സൗകര്യങ്ങൾ ഉള്ള ഒന്നല്ല,ഒരു ചെറിയ മനോഹരമായ വീട്.ചുറ്റും ചെടികൾ വളർന്ന് വള്ളികൾ പടർന്ന് പൂക്കൾ വിരിഞ്ഞ് കായകൾ കായ്ച്ചു നിറഞ്ഞു ...
